2000-2003

NYC and Cosmetology School

I moved to NYC and tended bar at
​Bellevue Alcohol Abuse Center
CBGB Gallery
Culture Club

While bartending, I attended
a NYC Cosmetology school,
L.I.B,S.

At the end of 2002,
I was a licensed Cosmetologist
focusing on brow design.

2003-2007
Anastasia Soare- Anastasia Beverly Hills

In 2003, I was hired by
the brow guru herself,
Anastasia Beverly Hills
​as a stylist for her Times Sq, NYC location.

I was personally hand trained by Anastasia
in NYC in her balanced brow aesthetic.

I soon became the cosmetologist
she referred clients to in NYC.

In NYC, I represented ABH
in magazines and on tv.

In 2005, I relocated to Portland
with Anastasia Beverly Hills.

Within a year, I turned a failing
brow studio to number one in the nation.

2008-2010
Cinta Salon - San Francisco

In 2008, I relocated to San Francisco
and was hired at Cinta Salon.

At Cinta, I specialized in
brow design and makeup,

In 2008, I was certified by Lavish Lashes in Classic Lashes extensions
and began my lash career.

I trained in threading in 2008, and ultimately
guest lectured in
eyebrow design and threading
at the Cinta Aveda Institute.

In 2009, I was trainer certified with Lavish Lash
​to be the SF trainer. I taught classic lash extension techniques, sanitation and safety from 2009-2011.

2011
Brow & Lash Specialist-Jessica Devereux

In 2011, I was ready to open my first studio
in downtown SF Sola Salon Studios.

Within six months, I was exclusively
​supported by my established clientele
​and unable to book new clients.

​2014-2017
Started a family

In 2014, I had my first child and made a decision
to stay home and focus on my growing family.

My clientele was supportive ​and understanding.

2017-2019
Relocation, Reopening & Trainings

In 2018, My family was complete
and I had relocated to the North Bay.

I reopened at Sola Salon Studios San Rafael.

After six months, I was unable to take new clients.

After a year, I added a Petaluma location part time.

​2019-2021
Petaluma, Pandemic and Sustainable Practices

After a year working in Petaluma part time,
I closed San Rafael to open exclusively
in Petaluma on March 15, 2020.
​
Covid threw a curve ball, so I focused on
beauty waste, sustainable products and practices.

I partnered with Green Circle Salons,
a private recycling company, to recycle
my professional PPE, products, packaging and waste.

I removed lash extensions from my services
to reduce plastic waste.

I was able to work on and off with
established clientele in 5 different locations in 2020.

In 2020, I focused on lash lifts and laminations.

I certified online with leading UK lamination artist,
Claudia Louise and her Lamination Master Class

By May 2021, I reopened to full capacity at my current
B Street location in Downtown Petaluma.

2022
Growth and Education

I am excited to introduce an education program covering service and sustainability in beauty.

This year, ​I look forward to growing the salon
to support myself and this beautiful community.
